Rodney Harris
US Career Institute Certified Trainer and Nutritional Specialist
Trains at Upland |
Rodney has been an active and dedicated athlete since the age of nine. His love of sports led him to pursue a career in football. He earned a full-ride scholarship to the University of Kansas, where he received All Big 12 Conference Honors and served as team captain. In addition, the KU coaching staff honored him with the Iron Man Award, given to the player considered to be the hardest worker.
Rodney is our fitness instructor for our Boot Camp classes. Rodney is skilled at group exercise programs and knows how to get people into shape, while keeping the workouts fun... yet challenging. Rodney is great at guiding clients toward the best healthy food options.
In March 2006 Rodney suffered a tragic injury that ended his football career in the NCAA. Since then, Rodney refocused on a career in personal training. In his spare time Rodney enjoys coaching and developing young athletes in his Youth Training Program, "The Factory".
