About Fitness Results Trainers
All Fitness Results trainers use the same fundamentals -- education, emphasis on overall fitness, and supervision. All trainers are certified by AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) after completing a study curriculum that includes anatomy and kinesiology, fitness assessment testing procedures, nutrition fundamentals and weight management, special populations and medical considerations, listening, leadership and motivational skills, exercise programming in the weight room and wellness programming and screening guidelines.
Fitness Results founder Lance McCullough serves as the Director of Training. His role is to ensure consistency among trainers, compose and distribute educational topics, and stay abreast of advances in training techniques and philosophies. Lance also accepts new training clients, but on a limited basis.
All new Fitness Results clients begin with these steps:
- a general health assessment that includes current strength level, aerobic capacity and diet.
- a scientific fitness evaluation including body composition analysis (BMI reading), digital pulse analyzer (a snapshot of cardiovascular health, lifestyle questionnaire, flexibility training tolerance and nutritional analysis.
- BodyGem® analysis to establish daily calorie count for losing weight based on your body's current metabolic rate (calorie burn rate).
- Fitness Results Interactive to track calories and nutrients in your daily food intake.
